Content Guidelines

All content you provide for editing must comply with the following restrictions:

• • Must not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights
• • Must not violate any person's privacy or publicity rights

We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation of our services or the information, content, or materials included on our website. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, title, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EditWorks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
• • Loss of data or content
• • Business interruption or downtime
• • Damage to reputation or goodwill
• • Cost of substitute services

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or related to these terms or our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim, or one hundred pounds (£100), whichever is greater.

Exclusion of Consequential Damages

Under no circumstances shall EditWorks be liable for any damages arising from delays, cancellations, misdelivery, or non-delivery of services, whether caused by us, our contractors, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes but is not limited to technical failures, force majeure events, or third-party service disruptions.

Force Majeure

EditWorks shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, labor disputes, government regulations, failure of third-party service providers, or interruptions in telecommunications or internet services.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in England and Wales, and you hereby irrevocably consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in such courts.

Dispute Resolution Procedures

In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these terms or our services, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good faith negotiations. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiations within thirty days, either party may pursue formal dispute resolution through the courts of England and Wales.

Severability Clause

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if it cannot be made enforceable, it shall be severed from these terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect and shall not be affected by the invalid or unenforceable provision.

Waiver

No waiver by EditWorks of any term or condition set forth in these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition. Any failure by EditWorks to assert any right or provision under these terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

Assignment

You may not assign, transfer, or delegate any of your rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions without the prior written consent of EditWorks. We reserve the right to assign these terms or any rights or obligations hereunder to any party at our discretion, including in connection with any merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
